The DIBt, German Institute for Building Technology, Berlin, has given the national technical seal of approval to the Konudur Homeliner system, developed by MC-Bauchemie. Prior to the approval extensive site and laboratory tests of the pipe-liner system were carried out by the Institute for Underground Infrastructures (IKT), Gelsenkirchen, which is a test institute recognised by the DIBt. Supplementing the „Konudur LM-liner“, already certified in April and used for the cost-effective and reliable repair of localised defects in canalisation pipes, together both systems now provide a certified and highly economical method for the renovation of complete canalisation infrastructures and house service connections up to a maximal pipe diameter measuring 500 mm.
