MC Fest in Chile - All good things come in threes

On 9th November 2023, the third MC Fest was held at our headquarters in Chile, attended by more than 80 customers from the infrastructure & industry, building construction and concrete industry sectors. The aim of this event, inspired by the Oktoberfest, was to present new MC products in theory and practice, to update customers on current business activities and projects and, of course, to strengthen customer relationships in a festive but relaxed atmosphere.
Great product demonstrations in a specially built arena
Milan Ceric, Managing Director of MC-Chile, and Lorena Imbert, Marketing Manager and organiser of the MC Fest, welcomed the guests in the MC tent and invited them to the first part, the product demonstrations, in a specially constructed arena. “The MC Fest is based on fundamental principles for our company such as a close personal relationship with our customers based on trust, quality and innovation,” explains Milan Ceric adding: “Day per day the construction industry shows specific needs – not always fulfilled – and we believe and want to be a serious player to meet them by supporting our customers in every aspect.”
And the MC Chile team demonstrated this in the practical part of the MC Fest very impressively. Francisco Villegas (Key Account & Key Project Manager - Mining, Northern Chile), Sofía Castro (Product Manager), Manuel Anguera (National Sales Head Concrete Industry), Cristián Alarcón (National Sales Head of Infrastructure), Guillermina Hidalgo (National Sales Head of Building), together with Shingiro Tokudome (Business Director Concrete Industry LATAM) and Dennys Frank (Business Development Manager for South America), as well as application engineers William Miti Naoi (MC-Brazil) and Matías Bruna (MC-Chile), presented various new products and took the opportunity to answer the numerous questions from customers in detail.
Social time with German beer and food
After the stimulating and intensive exchange with the MC experts, the guests returned to the festival tent in summery temperatures for the cosy second part of the party with German beer and traditional German food. Chilean chef and TV presenter Rodrigo Barañao and beer sommelier Natalia Urzúa added to the cheerful and relaxed atmosphere with games, awards and beer presentations. There were also video greetings from Managing Director Nicolaus M. Müller and Regional Manager LATAM Jaques Pinto. Both congratulated MC-Chile on its recent successes, looked positively to the coming year and wished everyone a fun-filled celebration.
MC-Chile's successful development
Since its establishment eight years ago, MC-Chile has continued to develop and establish itself as an important player in the Chilean construction industry. The young company employs 45 people and produces admixtures, resin products and powders at its plant in Santiago de Chile. Milan Ceric took over the management of the company about three years ago and has since then achieved strong growth. "We want to further increase the awareness and visibility of MC in Chile and strengthen the "MC" brand," explains Ceric, looking into the future.
