By appointing Imre Széplaki as Managing Director, MC is strengthening its operational leadership in Hungary. He will oversee operations and production at the Kövesgyűr site, including production planning, monitoring and associated budget responsibilities. He is also responsible for the laboratory, logistics as well as finance and accounting departments. Together with Csaba Pethő (Managing Director of Sales for the Concrete Industry, Buildings and Infrastructure) and Tamás Kollár (Managing Director of Sales for Building Distribution), Imre Széplaki forms MC Hungary's three-person management team. 

Sound education and many years of experience in the construction materials industry  

Since 2007, he has worked for an internationally operating construction materials company, most recently as R&D and Quality Manager reporting directly to the management board. In this position, he was responsible for leading R&D and quality management teams, as well as managing innovation and quality processes.

He has an MBA in Business Administration from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Quality Management from the University of Dunaújváros. He is currently completing a part-time postgraduate programme to become a Corporate Internal and Executive Coach at Corvinus University of Budapest. Alongside his professional activities, Imre is also actively involved as a member of the National Technical Committee for Cement and Lime in Hungary.
