During the four-day program, the guests from Ghana gained insights into MC’s innovative technologies and sustainable solutions for durable structures. MC experts gave technical presentations on topics such as the use of concrete admixtures and additives, durability, sustainability and cost optimisation in concrete construction, the necessity of waterproofing and protecting concrete, injection technologies for soil stabilisation and modern flooring systems. The program was supplemented by practical applications and product demonstrations in the Deminar Hall of MC-Bauchemie’s training centre on Müllerstraße in Bottrop. Particular interest was shown in the challenges of sustainable construction methods as well as the durability of concrete structures under various climatic conditions.
Practical exchange and international networking
In addition to the technical presentations, the event placed a strong emphasis on personal exchange and networking. Participants engaged in discussions with experts from MC’s segment and product management as well as application engineering teams in Germany, focusing on international standards, innovative materials, and practical application solutions. The program was rounded off with a factory tour at MC’s headquarters in Bottrop, providing valuable insights into modern production processes.
As a company with long-standing business relationships across Africa, MC-Bauchemie has been operating its own companies in Ghana, Guinea, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Egypt for many years. In this context, the forum also contributed to strengthening professional exchange and international cooperation with partners from the region.
