MC-Fastkick - When things have to move fast in winter

Oct 13, 2020

With MC-FastKick you significantly accelerate the hardening process of your concrete. In addition, you also ensure greatly reduced cycle times in the precast plant and shorter curing times in winter construction. With MC-FastKick, you not only achieve an acceleration of hardening, but also a significant liquefaction. For concretes with PCE-based superplasticizers, the use of MC-FastKick enables an additional increase in consistency. The setting accelerator also gives the concrete very good processing properties and enables high early strengths.

The mechanism of action of MC-FastKick gives the concrete a kick in the truest sense of the word, significantly accelerates the curing process and thus ensures greatly reduced cycle times in the precast plant and shorter curing times in winter construction.

Great advantages for precast plants and in winter construction

MC-FastKick offers precast plants great advantages, as they can achieve the strength required for striking much faster and thus increase their striking frequency. The period of maximum acceleration effect ranges from six to twelve hours for CEM I, roughly eight to 16 hours for CEM II and approximately ten to 20 hours for CEM III. MC-FastKick is therefore not only suitable for use in precast factories, but especially for winter construction, as it can compensate for longer curing times.

Shorter curing times and higher stripping frequencies

MC-FastKick has a positive effect on the crystal growth of the calcium silicate hydrate phases in concrete. This leads to increased early strength without negatively influencing the other concrete properties. MC-FastKick 111 can be used for concrete and reinforced concrete* and MC-FastKick 105 for concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete* and thus for almost all concretes.
