It is a good and long tradition at MC-Bauchemie to welcome the new trainees in August at the MC training centre in Müllerstraße in Bottrop. Thus, on 2 August 2021, the 16 new trainees who have started their training in the commercial and industrial-technical areas at MC-Bauchemie officially arrived there for their first day at MC.

The official welcome was followed by a presentation including an introduction to the company and its individual areas of activities and departments. Before the trainees were handed over to their training departments, the traditional group photo was taken in front of the MC training centre.

Broad training and very good prospects

In the new apprenticeship year, a building materials tester, a paint laboratory technician, a chemical laboratory technician, a warehouse logistics specialist, an electronics technician for industrial engineering, a chemical technician, industrial mechanics, chemical production specialists, industrial clerks and a forwarding and logistics services clerk started their training at MC. A total of 37 apprentices are currently being trained at MC across the three training years. Training at MC lasts two to three and a half years. During this time, the trainees get to know all relevant company departments. The special thing about MC is that they are quickly integrated into the day-to-day business, take on responsibility early on and actively work as part of the respective teams from the very beginning.

Training is an important component of personnel work at MC and indispensable for the further development of the company. "We attach great importance to the continuous training of our junior staff," says Nicolaus Müller, Managing Director of MC-Bauchemie GmbH & Co. KG and among other things responsible for Human Resources, and adds: "Because this is how we ensure the continued existence of our company and lay the foundation for our future success." MC-Bauchemie offers its trainees very good career prospects in a continuously growing, internationally active company. Even in the difficult times of the coronavirus pandemic, the Bottrop-based construction chemicals company was able to continue to grow.

Moving forward. Growing together - this is the core message to the new apprentices. "Our trainees get to know all the relevant areas of the company and can use the creative freedom we offer them for their professional careers. If they are committed and do a good job, it is up to them which direction they take," emphasises Nicolaus Müller. More than 100 current employees who have completed training at MC and have made a career at MC are the best proof of this.
