With the appointment of Konrad Wenkebach, MC-Bauchemie is responding to the strong growth of recent years. The increasing complexity in finance and accounting requires a broader structuring of the finance department. His responsibilities include accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, controlling, IT and taxes. The 47-year-old graduate in business administration reports to Dr. Ekkehard zur Mühlen, one of the two managing directors of the MC-Bauchemie Group.
Konrad Wenkebach brings with him extensive expertise in the financial management of corporate finance organizations, gained through his experience in international companies in various industries. Among other things, he spent three and a half years in the United States as CFO of a global manufacturer of aircraft seats, where he worked for a total of 13 years. He has extensive IT experience and has overseen the implementation of new ERP systems in several of his professional roles. He began his career with a Big Four accounting firm, where he successfully passed the exams to become a tax consultant and a Certified Public Accountant.
"With his experience and expertise, Mr. Wenkebach will strengthen our financial organization and support our growth strategy," said Dr. Ekkehard zur Mühlen. "Especially in view of the upcoming ERP system implementation, he brings valuable practical experience to ensure efficient process optimization and seamless system integration."
