The new MC-Estribond series from MC-Bauchemie comprises three separate products in the form of bonding agent MC-Estribond MB and primers MC-Estribond T 15 and MC-Estribond NA. They offer applicators a simple system of adhesion promoters designed to match virtually all types of substrate encountered in building construction. Comprised entirely of ready-to-use, solvent-free, single-component products, the MC-Estribond range excels through easy handling and simple application, with a high yield ratio enhancing cost-efficiency. The component products are environmentally sound, quick to apply and functionally reliable.

The classic for composite screeds

Formulated as a mineral bonding agent for cementitious substrates, MC-Estribond MB is particularly suitable for application on composite screeds. Once mixed with water it is ready to use and can be applied with ease on the pre-wetted substrate using a short-bristle brush, scrubber, broom or similar to create an even coating thoroughly absorbed into pores and cavities. The cement screed or concrete is applied to the partially set, matt-moist adhesion layer. MC-Estribond MB ensures optimal bonding of the cement screed or concrete to mineral substrates.

The allrounder for highly absorbent substrates

MC-Estribond T 15 is a deep liquid primer developed for highly absorbent cementitious wall and floor substrates. Dusty and sandy surfaces are reliably consolidated with this universal adhesion promoter to greatly reduce their absorbency. MC-Estribond T 15 is ready to use and is applied undiluted with a brush or roller.

The strong bonder for very smooth substrates

MC-Estribond NA is a viscous adhesive primer that is used for non-absorbent and very smooth surfaces on which conventional bond coats do not adhere and which normally have to be sanded. This is not necessary with MC-Estribond NA because the adhesion fines it contains ensure an optimal bond ready for the next coating. This new primer from MC-Bauchemie is likewise ready for use and can be applied directly and undiluted to the prepared substrate with a brush or roller. It can also be used on tiles to provide a reliable bond for subsequent trades.
