The production of high-quality concrete goods places special demands on low porosity and high matrix density – particularly for products such as pipes, roof tiles, and prestressed hollow core slabs. To meet these requirements even more effectively, MC presents the Murasan Hydrotech 864 family, comprising Murasan Hydrotech 864 and the newly introduced Murasan Hydrotech 864 lite.
Engineered for flexibility
Murasan Hydrotech 864 impresses with maximum efficiency and first-class performance. The admixture has been specially developed for demanding applications that require an especially dense microstructure and high durability. With Murasan Hydrotech 864 lite, MC also offers a variant with an optimised concentration. It is well-suited for applications that demand a broader dosing range or those with strict requirements for cost-optimized performance.
Reduced carbon footprint
One advantage of Murasan Hydrotech 864 products is their contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions. Thanks to highly efficient PCE production at the headquarters in Bottrop and short transport routes, the product-specific carbon footprint is kept as low as possible right from the supply chain stage. In addition, depending on the concrete mix design, using the compaction-aiding admixtures may allow for a reduction in cement content, which can lead to further CO₂ savings. This potential, however, should be verified through laboratory testing, as the extent of cement reduction depends on the specific formulation and performance requirements.
Advanced technology for maximum efficiency
Both products are based on MC’s latest-generation PCE and ensure effective cement dispersion, smooth surface texture, and accelerated strength development. Their key benefits include improved concrete density for higher strength and durability, faster compaction for more efficient production, and reduced friction, which helps minimise mould wear.
