Sustainable coating system thanks to low layer thickness
The key advantage of this proven system lies in the significantly reduced layer thickness: a performance-based assessment demonstrated that OS 11a
MC-DUR
TopSpeed flex plus achieves the required properties at a layer thickness of just approx. 2.7 mm. Conventional reaction resin systems require a layer thickness of at least 5 mm to 6 mm to achieve the same results. This allows for material savings of up to 60%. A clear advantage in terms of sustainability and resource efficiency – particularly for large-scale car park refurbishments.
Versatile coating system for multi-storey car parks
The OS 11a
MC-DUR
TopSpeed flex plus meets all the essential performance characteristics of an OS 11a in accordance with Part 2 of the German TR-IH – meaning the system is suitable for traffic-bearing, exposed concrete structures such as car park decks or bridge decks. It impresses with high mechanical strength, excellent weather resistance and long-lasting protective properties. Furthermore, the system also meets the requirements for an OS 8 system – a surface protection system specifically designed for traffic-bearing, mechanically heavily loaded surfaces in multi-storey car parks.
Reliable application of coating system even under difficult conditions
The system consists of a primer and a scratch coat using MC-DUR TopSpeed SC. Optionally, MC-DUR 1177 WV-A can be used as a primer, for example on very dense substrates. A flexible intermediate coat of MC-DUR TopSpeed flex plus is then applied. The skim coat and the top seal coat are applied using the fast-curing roller-applied coating MC-DUR TopSpeed.
Even fluctuating temperatures (application between 2 °C and 35 °C) and high humidity (up to 100% relative humidity) during installation are no problem thanks to KineticBoost-Technology®. This technology also ensures a rapid construction process. The finished surface is rainproof after just 30 minutes and can be walked on again after around two hours.
