In-house exhibition to get in touch with new products and innovations

At the first two days, our international colleagues were able to get in touch with new products and innovations at the various booths of our product segments Concrete, Refurbishment & Protection, Injections, Flooring, Waterproofing, Concrete Industry, Building Distribution and Building Finishing as well as Tunnelling. Our Segment and Product Line Managers showed product, sales and marketing highlights to give the countries food for thought as well as inspiration for the further development of the country strategies.

International exchange of experiences between the regions and segments

On the second and third day, 90-minute roundtable discussions were held between the regions and segments, in which the countries presented and discussed their strategies in the respective product category with the segments. On the last two days of the cafeteria, the managing directors of the country subsidiaries presented their strategy for the next two years in short 15-minute pitches to the global management, which commented on and ultimately approved them.

The MC World Cafeteria has been developed by MC’s group management together with the regional and segment heads to initiate a new strategic exchange between the countries, segments and central functions. The results serve as the basis for the following year's corporate goals and budgets.

Senior Management Meeting 2023

On Sunday before the MC Cafeteria, 18 June 2023, MC's Senior Management Meeting took place in Düsseldorf, attended by the managing directors of all MC country subsidiaries as well as the German management level. Interesting presentations on future business opportunities and goals as well as group workshops enabled an intensive exchange and improved networking between the MC countries. In addition, the MC Award for the most successful MC country company was once again presented at this round. MC Singapore secured the MC Award for the year 2022, MC Ghana came in second place, followed by MC Brazil in third place.
